The University of West Alabama and the UWA National Alumni Association presented the annual Alumni Achievement Awards during Homecoming to recognize outstanding graduates from each college.The University of West Alabama inducted two former Tigers into the Athletic Hall of Fame during the institution’s recent Homecoming celebration. UWA baseball record-holder Chance Melvin and current Arena Football League star Lawrence Samuels are the newest members.The University of West Alabama and the University of Alabama today announced a program designed to encourage Black Belt students to seek engineering degrees through the universities’ dual-degree partnership.
