We wish to introduce ourself as the promoters of Sri Manakula Vinayagar engineering college established in 1999, with a view to provide quality technical education to young citizens.

Pondicherry Engineering College is an Institution sponsored by the Union Territory of Pondicherry.The College was started in 1984 under the VII Five Year Plan. It is an autonomous Institution for the purposes of administration, staff recruitment and College development and is managed by a Board of Governors. The College is affiliated to Pondicherry University, Pondicherry, for the academic purposes.

JIPMER traces its origin to 1823 when a medical school called "Ecole de Medicine de Pondichery" was established by French government. In November 1956 the Government of India took over the medical college in the wake of the ‘de facto’ transfer of Pondicherry.

Vinayaka Missions is the first Charitable Trust to start a self-financing Medical college in Pondicherry State. The college is recognized by Government of India and Pondicherry State government and is affiliated to University of Pondicherry from the year 1996. It is located at the serene atmosphere near the beach, the college is functioning with all necessary infrastructures for imparting the best Medical education with an annual intake of 100 students.
