Westwood College was founded in Denver, Colorado in 1953. For many years the school was known as Denver Institute of Technology, offering diploma and degree programs in a variety of technical fields. Since then, Alta has expanded Westwood College's offerings by leveraging its proven approach of career-focused education to reach a wider array of students. We have degree programs in Business, Design, Computer & Information Technology, Industrial Services, Criminal Justice and Healthcare. Today, our Westwood schools include seventeen campuses across Southern California; Denver, Colorado; Atlanta, Georgia; Chicago, Illinois; Arlington/Annandale, Virginia; Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas and Houston, Texas. We also have an online campus, Westwood College Online (offered through Westwood College - Denver North).
