Lokmanya Tilak Institute of Management Studies & Research is one of the independent units of professional education being managed by Lokmanya Tilak Jankalyan Shikshan Sanstha. Some of the major and prominent educational units run by this foundation society.Lokmanya Tilak Institute of Management Studies & Research is established in June 1994 with due approval of All India Council of Technical Education, (G.O.I.) and is affiliated to Nagpur University.

Not being a department in any existing college, this institute has been provided with independent status, with separate building, infrastructure and above all independent faculty, Beside spacious classrooms, this independent building houses, specious library, Conference Hall , Seminar Hall and Auditorium . The rich library of the institute can be described as a mirror of the institute. It has exhaustive and exclusive collection of textbooks, reference books, journals and periodicals on various aspects of Management Education. The Institute has an independent Computer Lab, Which provides computer and
cyber facilities.
